As a Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/d), starting 1st of August 2025 (on-site in Paderborn or remote within Germany), you will contribute to the further development of our no-code platforms Artemis & Orbiter. You will create intuitive drag-and-drop interfaces for visual programming, design scalable architectures, and bring your experience to modern industrial UX. Together, we aim to revolutionize robotics.

Deine Aufgaben

Further development of Artemis & Orbiter

Development of modern drag-and-drop UI components
Optimization of no-/low-code interfaces for an intuitive user experience
Implementation of interactive dashboards and real-time process data visualizations

Architecture & Performance

Design of scalable, modular frontend architectures
Improvement of state management and asynchronous data handling

UX & User Experience

Close collaboration with UX designers
Ensuring a clear, consistent UI design for technical applications

Testing & Code Quality

Planning and implementation of unit and end-to-end tests
Focus on maintainable, testable, and stable code

Bist du bereit?

5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer working on complex web applications
Solid knowledge of React & TypeScript
Familiar with Redux, Zustand, Pinia, or similar tools
Experience with modular architecture, micro frontends & performance optimization
Strong sense for UX & design best practices in technical applications
Experience with security best practices
Nice to have: No-code/low-code, HMI, Tauri/Electron, Three.js
You are fluent in English

About us

At Unchained Robotics, we believe that for too long automation has been sold as rocket science, that it's been made needlessly complicated and more expensive. As a result, small and medium-sized companies have long hesitated to automate tasks that could have been automated 5, 10, or even 15 years ago. In a country where finding new workers - especially for repetitive manual tasks - has become supremely difficult, this has to stop.

And that is our mission. At Unchained Robotics we are building a transparent, brand-agnostic platform to help customers discover, price, and compare automation solutions and show them just how easy - and reasonably priced - automation can really be. We not only help customers find the right robots, grippers, and parts, but design, build, and deploy complete automation solutions. We'll accompany the client on either path: be it do-it-yourself, a turnkey solution, or something in between.

Found in 2019 as a two-man operation, our company has grown to become the team it is today. And we're looking to grow this motivated team even further to help drive automation forward in Germany and Europe.
